About Dice Crypt
Dice Crypt is a roguelike dice game: a turn-based dungeon crawler where every attack, block and spell comes from the dice you roll. Five dice, two rerolls and a crypt full of restless dead. Lock the faces you want, throw the others again and strike when the table looks right. Every descent plays out differently, and every choice reshapes your dice.
Like a deck builder with dice instead of cards, each run is about building a better set of faces: swap blanks for swords and shields, pick relics that bend the rules and choose your path through the dungeon.
- Lock and reroll: 5 dice, 2 rerolls per turn, then every face takes effect at once
- Swords deal damage, shields block, hearts heal and sparks charge mana for your abilities
- Pairs, threes, fours and fives of a kind earn bonus damage, block, healing or mana
- Read each enemy's intent before you commit: attack, defend, curse or summon
- Five floors of seven rooms on a branching map: combat, elite, treasure, shop, campfire and a boss at the bottom
- Rebuild your dice: swap blank faces for new ones and forge them at the campfire or in the shop
- 28 relics with passive effects that change the way you play
- More than 25 enemies and 5 bosses, from the King of Bones down to the Lich
- Three heroes with three mana abilities each: the Warden, the Duelist and the Seer
- Your descent is saved automatically: pick it up again from the menu whenever you like
- Ivory dice, plus optional bone and obsidian sets
A roguelike built for the phone: short turns, runs of twenty minutes or so, and permadeath that sends you back up with a new plan.
The first floor, the Ossuary, can be played in full without paying, boss included. A one-time purchase, Dice Crypt Complete, unlocks floors 2 to 5, their bosses, the Duelist and the Seer. A separate optional purchase adds the bone and obsidian dice. The only ad is an optional video at the start of a descent that gives you 25 extra gold.
