About Chronoscribe
Chronoscribe is a detective puzzle game: a logic deduction mystery on a detective's desk, under the warm light of a lamp. Every case file pins the suspects' photos to a cork board, with paper slips saying where each of them was, quarter of an hour by quarter of an hour. Only one testimony is false: find it and you have the culprit.
Nobody can be in two places at once. Tap two slips to pull the red thread between them, read their typed testimonies side by side and, when the story no longer holds, stamp your accusation. It is a deduction game in the spirit of logic grid puzzles, with a new mystery every day.
- A case of the day, numbered and the same for everyone, plus free cases whenever you want another one
- Difficulty in magnifying lenses, from 1 to 3: 3 suspects early in the week, 4 from Thursday, over 4 to 6 quarters of an hour
- Every case is generated and checked: exactly one lie and only one possible culprit, solvable by logic alone
- Places are icons on the slips: office, bar, archive and library. A slip with an eye is a witness who saw someone there
- Three accusations per case: after the third wrong one, the culprit gets away
- The clock counts your time and never makes you lose. Leave a case halfway and pick it up later
- Forensic analyzer after two wrong accusations: a brass lens finds the contradiction, the forensic report points to the two statements that cannot both be true and crosses out an irrelevant one, without telling you who lied. With a short video if you choose to watch one, once per case
- The verdict as a newspaper clipping: the culprit's photo stamped Guilty and the explanation of the lie
- A week calendar with a day crossed out for every case solved, a day streak and an archive with your statistics (best streak, average time)

Chronoscribe shows ads: a banner on the home screen and on the verdict, and now and then an ad between one case and the next, never while you investigate. A one-time purchase removes them. A pack of 10 forensic analyses lets you use the analyzer without a video.
